As 31 year local residences of the Carson and Tahoe areas. Don and Brenda Heldoorn have worked hard to build Carson Welding into Carson City’s largest and most comprehensive metal works company.  After working in the metal fabrication industrial industry for 24 years, Don and Brenda decided to create Carson Welding Inc.  Living and working in Tahoe was a wonderful lifestyle.  The wilderness and the wildlife fueled their creative abilities.  It was the love of the wildlife (especially Bears) that helped jumpstart the NO BEAR CAN. With Brenda's ingenuity and Don's fabrication expertise they set off on an adventure that has helped continue the efforts of so many wildlife conservators before them.  As the fabrication business grew they new they needed to surround themselves with a great team.  A team that has grown into a family.

  In August of 2019 Kevin Kennison joined the CWI family as the Business Manager. Kevin has 20 years of constructive and empirical knowledge in the metal fabrication and construction industries. While living and working in Mammoth Lakes, CA Kevin was given the opportunity to join the fabrication team. It was an exciting and productive time as Kevin took to metal fabrication like a fish to water. After several years on the coast in Monterey Kevin and his family decide to move back to the Eastern Sierra.  Kevin’s drive to build on the Legacy from Don and Brenda, made him the right choice to carry on the Carson Welding Inc. name. Kevin collaborates with our CWI family, Contractors and Homeowners to grow quality into all aspects of CWI. When not working on client projects, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family in the beautiful Eastern Sierra. Hiking, off roading, skiing and camping keeps Kevin and his family busy.
